  14. I am very happy with my Boca modem, it has worked for more than a year
  15. now and is working well with OS2, Dos 6.22, win311 and 95.

  17. It is V.Fast and I have been trying to obtain the V.34 firmware, the
  18. support from Boca is not good at the best of times, but being out in
  19. darkest Africa it has proved futile.

  21. I wonder if some kind soul with an eprom reader would be prepared to
  22. pull  their eprom, and send me the code. I have eprom burning
  23. capability. It is a 1meg eprom (128k bytes) so there is a lot of code
  24. in there. Email, uuencoded in several parts (if necessary) would be
  25. fine, I think! The code is the same that ships with the MV34E. It is
  26. the external model but the code is the same as the MV34I internal
  27. model.

  29. Some people might consider this illegal. I don't, as there was an
  30. offer from Boca to upgrade to V.34 when available. It is just the
  31. logistics of getting it out here that has frustrated me.
